Family time and stones

This weekend started off with the theme "Family time" With Curt going back to work finally I wanted us  to enjoy some good time with the girls. Friday night we went and visited our friends the Johnson family and they were nice enough to arrange for us to take their old washer and dryer off their hands. Ours died, and we having been living without a dryer for 2 weeks. Agony. And they had their old set in their gargage that is very new and in amazing shape. So we spent our Friday night doing laundry. It was wonderful.

Then Saturday am I awoke with the girls so Curt could get some sleep. Hard week's work. We took some time to put away our clean dry laundry, and being goofs in the process. Reegan's bed head was too much to not capure on film forever, and Zoey sat in the bumbo for the first time!

Then Reegan and I took off for a Mommy and me day! There is a store in Maplewood called Lakeside learning that I have been dying to go to! And every Saturday they offer free crafts. So we headed off there where she made a ducky using paints and feathers. It was cute. Mom bought some good learning tools, posters, paints and such. I really wanna do some preschool activities with her budding mind. We proceeded to hit Old Navy, Sears, Target and Cub. No nap for her either, which was the first. Shop til we drop! She did nap for minutes on the way home. But my crabby sleeper usually needs hrs plus.

Saturday night we were planning on attending a friends wedding. And Curt's band was supposed to play. But they got cancelled, so we went as a family. It was wonderful. I had dressed the girls in matching outfits, so we took the opportunity to try to get our first picture as a family of 4. ( Why we hadn't prior is beyond me)

We had a blast at the wedding. Reegan has really been all about music and dancing, so she ripped up the dance floor. And Grandma and Grandpa Kulzer and AJ are always a hit in Reegan's book. Zoey pretty much slept the whole time. She did like the disco lights though. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs Fenton!

Saturday night did not end as planned however. I got home and started to not feel very well. I thought maybe food poisoning or my gallbladder was acting up. My gb gave me problems during my pregnancy with baby Ryan, but I learned what foods to avoid, and pain was usually cured by Tylenol. But the pain was different, worse, and not helped by tylenol. I was up rolling around in pain from 11-0130 until I called a spade a spade and called my Mom to take me to the ER. After some good pain meds and an U/S, results were my GB is full of stones, and needs to come out. So its been a rough few hours. And my week of spending time with the girls doing enrichment activites and things went right out the window. But I am still hoping to hit up Como Zoo with my dear friend Hali that had her daughter about a week after Zoey. Then surgery later this week. Looking forward to feeling better, and spending every last moment of maternity leave with my wonderful girls. Sassy and Sweet.
