a few videos

This week was a week of healing for me. My belly continues to be sore, and we have been doing things around the house. Yesterday Curt started major work out back ripping up the yard, make it flat, moving the fence just along the pool, and then we will put in a patio and the swing set. Right now it is alot of mud with the current rain we are recieving.

But in the last week or so Zoey has decided she is a morning baby. She tries to start our day at about 5am, and is all smiles and chatter. I really felt guilty last night realizing that I hadn't taken any video of Zo this week. I try to take as much video and pics of Zo as I did with Reegs. But this morning as I was trying to capture smiley Zoey, I realized why. I get a jealous Reegan as soon as I start filming. Drinks were spilled, baby hugged tight and so on as I tried to film. But alas, I did get one ok video.

Zoey got this wonderful teddy bear for Easter from her Uncle Tyler, and she has fallen in love with this bear. She talks to her, and grabs on, and becomes all smiles. I usually introduce a animal a day to her, but she really likes this one! Thanks Uncle Ty!

And last but not least, a fun video of Reegan riding her bike from last Saturday. She is so proud of being able to ride her bike!!

Well I am off to a scrapbook bridal shower, leaving the girls at home with dad. Just what the girls, and I need :)

Easter

Happy Wednesday!!

Easter was this past Sunday. And after misplacing my SD card with the photos on it, I figured I would post some pics. Late, but better then never!!

The dresses stayed on for a whole 10 minutes, before we changed Reegs into normal clothes. It was too nice outside not to play! She got shovels, and pails, and had to play in the rocks. I am taking the girls for pictures May 4th, and they will be wearing the dresses. Overall Easter was pretty low key. Wish we could have made it to church, but God knows we prayed.

I ended up having my Gallbladder removed Thursday night, and am on the mend. Curt went back to work Tuesday, but had a rain day today. So he is outside doing yard work, and I am getting some overdue spring cleaning done. It would be better if it were 60 and we have the windows open. But instead it keeps snowing. Lovely.

Reegan gives the look

Reegan: She who rules, or little king.
Boy, does that name ever fit her. She is pretty sure she rules our roost. Its the weirdest thing looking at her sometimes, I see myself back in the day, via home videos. Minus the red hair. But she has something I never had.....comedic timing.

Happy Holy Week!

This past weekend we dyed eggs. It is Zoey's first Easter, and Reegan's 2nd. But I am guessing she doesn't remember her 1st! We had fun the whole family. And my Mom bought these anti-spill kits, which didn't work as hoped, but made for good fun for Dad!

Today we awoke to a snowy wonderland! Doesn't feel like spring, or Easter! Curt was hoping to be in the pool this weekend. But I don't see that happening. At least not today!

Zoey is 2 months old!

Not sure where the last two months went, but my lil sweetness is 2 months old! And how do we celebrate? With a doctor's visit and shots!

She looks excited to see Dr Anderson! She weighed 10lbs 15.8oz, 22.3inches long, and her head is 39cm. That is 54% weight, 47% length, and 57% head. Just perfect! She did pretty well with the shots, only cried for a minute. Monday night she was up most the night, but has been back to normal now since. So today, I decided to dress her in her ZOEY onsie that Auntie Nora made for her!

Notice the smirk in the last two? Yea that is because she filled her pants. It was everywhere! Diaper, onsie, blanket, couch, everywhere. So to the bath she went!

She is too stinkin sweet. Loves to chat and be talked to! And cuddle her Mama. She is perfection :)

Reegan has red hair. Red curly hair. And mommy wants to put it in a pony, or pigtails, daily. We fight, she pulls it out, therefore Mommy gives up. Well friday, she wanted pigtails. Because I asked her if she wanted pigtails "just like Riehle?" And she was very excited.

And then not so much. She cried, and screamed and kicked and cried. So we distracted with Papa and Grandma's house and she forgot about them for an hr or so until she pulled them out. They were cute while they lasted.

Zoey, on the other hand, could not be ANY cuter! And yellow is her color.......

For those of you that know me will atest, I am not the most emotional person. But I have found, that when it comes to my 2 girls, the smallest of acomplishments can bring me to my knees. For example, looking through pictures and seeing how much my Reegan has grown..............

 She has always had that big smile, red hair ( although nowadays she has ALOT more, debating that first haircut) and the gleam of trouble in her eyes. Her sense of humor is budding, she laughed all day during story hour at the library.

And then I find new pictures from Zoey's birth that I have never seen and am reminded of how big she has gotten already...............

(This would technically be our first picture of the three of us, although I do not remember it)

Proud Grandma

I never got to see Zo on the scale, I was dead to the world. So seeing it brings tears to my eyes. Now look how big she is!

Same Bumbo, different beautiful little girl. Amazing how time flies! Cannot believe that Reegan is 22.5 months old, and Zoey is officially 2 months old today. They better stop growing pretty darn soon!

Lastly, as I wipe my tears, I will leave video of Reegan riding her bike for the very first time. I better not blink, soon it will be Zoey! :)
