82nd Street Live, one last time!

Last night we went out to see Curt's band, 82nd Street, last local gig around here. There final gig is in a month in Range, WI. He has been with the band for 11 years and has really enjoyed being in the band. But he decided he wanted to spend his weekends with the family and the girls instead of losing a whole weekend everytime they play. Completely his decision, but I fully support him as well! So down to Osceola Lanes last night. Mother nature put on quite the show with lightening and thunder! So the girls and I left before it stormed. But I did get a few pics and video.

I know music will play an important part of the girls lives......... its in their blood. :)

I head to camp tomorrow, so there probably won't be any activity here until thursday. The girls are going to spend some time with Claire T, Auntie Molly, and an overnighter with Grandma and Grandpa Kulzer. I am sure they will have a ball, they always do :)

Fair fun!

Reegan Zoey and I ventured out with Papa Dennis and Auntie Molly to the big bad Polk County Fair Friday. Fun was had by all! Reegan had been on a farm animal kick, so seeing them all was her dream come true! Then we had lunch at the bone Lake Church booth ( a must) where the church ladies made meatballs, potatoes, bun, corn and applesauce. Afterwards came the famous Cookie Cottage Cookies, and a few rides! Reegs and I rode the merry go round, then she picked a duck, tried to win a goldfish, and then the ferris wheel. She wanted to do the jumpy things, but was too short. Try to rationalize that to a 2 year old............ugh. But all was well, and she wants to go back today. We'll see Reegan Elizabeth! Zoey had fun watching the animals, and LOVED watching the ferris wheel. Amazing to think that last year she was in my belly, and next year she'll be running around riding rides. Crazy.

Arts and Crafts!

Reegan and I decided to have some fun today while Zoey was napping! And while I knew it was bath day, figured she could go crazy.....and she did. And loved it.

Sisters. Friends for life.

Zoey and Reegan have had a good relationship from the day Zo was born! Reegan has always cared and watched out for her. Now they are becoming very good friends. Zoey lights up when she sees Reegs, and Reegs loves to make her laugh, and cuddle.

This and that, mostly enjoying family time!

As of Friday morning, I finished 7 nights in a row. That is 7 nights away from my family, taking care of patients. So I fell behind in the blogging. Then friday night I went to the Twins game with my dad, Saturday night we chilled at home as a family, and tonight my friend Becky brought her new baby and family over for dinner, and spending time poolside. It was heaven. Barely turned on the computer. Its was heaven. So here are some pics :)
