WDW 1

Friday September 28th we awoke to an alarm clock, got two sleepy girls ready and out of the hotel by 8am. Headed through the main gates of the Magic Kingdom, and parked in the Hero lot Aladdin row. Boarded the boat to the Magic Kingdom. Met my cousin Harold, and he took some family pics for us. Was nice to see him as I hadn't seen him in 14 years.

We headed in the park. Curt, I feel, was a little overwhelmed. Right away when we walked in their were charecters, and I wanted to hop in line. And Reegan and Zoey met Pluto. 

Reegan was in awe of the castle. Zoey, just wanted to run around. :)

Then to the raceway~

We worked our way to the Dumbos, which both girls loved. Then Curt and Reegan went on Goofy's rollercoaster a few times while Zoey and I rode the train around the park. She needed to destimulate a little. 

Shortly after obtaining some fast passes, Zoey started to fall asleep in the stroller. Which was great, otherwise we were gonna have to head back to nap. So red and I took advantage of some meet and greets while Zo and dad walked around the park. Curt said he got a lot of strange looks due to the way Zo was sitting.................

Cinderella was amazing. Red could have talked to her all day. She loved talking to the kids, and it was clear to see. 

Once Zoey was up, lollipops were in order, and we sat to watch the show :)

We decided to walk over to the new fantasyland as they had a large water area.  It was perfect planning! Suckers followed by water! Red and I then did the rollercoaster ourselves, and then dumbo, again. 

We went and ate dinner, even though Reegan just kept talking about going BACK to the Pooh ride. :) We convinced her to do the Haunted Mansion, which was good. But she got scared.

We decided to do some adventure land rides, jungle cruise, Aladdin's carpets, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

This pic makes me laugh, because Zoey isnt a big fan. Notice the shy face. :) 

The park closed early for a Halloween party, so we headed to the Grand Floridian where my cousin plays in the Orchestra there. Fun to see. Then home, and to bed. At like 11. Where does the time go??

Where dreams come true

14 years ago Curt asked me to be his girlfriend.
5 years ago We said I do!

So this year, for our anniversary, we decided ( after I begged) to drive to Disney World. We knew it would be rough, driving 25-28 hrs one way, 2 days in the parks, and driving back. But SO worth it.

We left September 25th at 845pm. ( I got sent home early from work, as they were tired of watching me walk around in my Minnie Ears) I drove until mid-Illinois, at about 4am. Curt drove from their until Wickliffe, KY. We arrived at The Meyer residence at 10am. We enjoyed Kaylee and her cousins, the animals, and a WONDERFUL naptime. Jason and Jana got home, and prepared an amazing steak dinner. And we decided to hit the road, again.

We drove through the night. From Ky-Tenn - Georgia. Did you know when you drive through the mountains you enter Tennessee  then Georgia, then Tennessee again? I do. And of course both girls got sick, and puked mid mountains. Chattanooga TN was SO beautiful at night, driving around the lake at the foot of the mountains. And Nashville at night with the big AT&T tower was gorgeous. Coming through Atlanta around Turner field was gorgeous as well. Then Curt had to take over at 6am. He drove through til Florida, and we decided to head over to the gulf coast. We went to Crystal River, Manatee capital of the World.

We headed to Orlando, and checked into our hotel. Reegan and I did a drive through the WDW resort area.  And to the grocery store. Made Homemade pizza, ate some food, and headed to bed.

Lunchtime Antics Sept 12 style

Sometimes when I am home with the girls, the highlight of my day is lunch time. Don't get me wrong, I love every minute I spend with them, but there is something special about just me and my girls sitting down for lunch together.

Other highlights of my day are when Zoey wakes up in the am, we sit on the couch and cuddle and watch Curious George. 

And we love story time together, and laying down for naps, and when Daddy comes home. :)

The girls started daycare at Jills and both LOVE it! In two weeks, they go for their first full day. I am sure it will go well. 

OTOWN State fair this weekend, lots of pics to follow~
